Is Showit Only for Photographers?
Showit is an incredible platform that allows business owners to showcase their talents in unique ways.
With its endless customization, it feels like the possibilities are endless on Showit.
But you may be wondering, “Is Showit only for photographers?”
The short answer is no ;)
As a Showit website designer, I’ve seen so many different business owners utilize this amazing platform.
The reason it became so popular with photographers is because of the various gallery options and its user interface’s similarity to that of Adobe products that they might use on a daily basis.
So who else is Showit a good fit?
Creatives in the Wedding Industry
There’s so many business owners in the wedding industry that would be a great fit:
Floral Designers
Calligraphers
Wedding planner
Event coordinator
Venues
It’s no surprise that many other business owners in the wedding industry have built their online home with Showit after seeing all the gorgeous websites that photographers have.
There are so many ways to visually showcase a gallery of images showcasing your work, making Showit a wonderful option.
Website Designers and Visual Brand Designers
Due to Showit’s gallery options, it’s also a great option for designers with a full portfolio.
Especially when it comes to showcasing a unique look for their own visuals, Showit gives designers the potential to get creative with different layouts and elements.
There is so much freedom to show off your design skills with endless possibilities for customization.
Interior Designers
Interior Designers would benefit from Showit’s capabilities of showing beautiful galleries of images for case studies.
Showit allows them to expand their creativity outside of their home or commercial design projects and onto their website. Interior designers can ditch the boring cookie cutter websites for a Showit website that matches their vibe.
Copywriters
As a creative, copywriters also have a need for showcasing their best work to the world.
With Showit’s customizable canvases, there’s no shortage of ways for copywriters to show off testimonials and projects.
Online Coaches
Whether you’re a life coach, business coach, or health coach, Showit has everything coaches need to showcase their services and programs to ideal clients.
Especially if you are a coach that wants a website with a unique layout and animation, Squarespace might not cut it.
This list could honestly keep going…
Social Media Managers
Ads Specialists
Online Business Managers
Virtual Assistants
Consultants
Yoga Instructors
…and more!
Showit is a great option for any solopreneur or small business owner who wants a more creative option for their online home compared to Squarespace or the tech headache of Wordpress.
As long as you’re only looking for an online home whose job is to showcase information, then you’re good.
Who Showit might not be a good fit for
If you need to sell products directly through your website, then you might want to consider Squarespace or Shopify.
At this time, Showit doesn’t have the option for creating a storefront for digital or physical products.
However, Showit did announce a partnership with Memberspace and there are still many options for integrating third party platforms.
For example, you could still list products on your Showit website, but the link to learn more or to buy could lead a visitor to a third party checkout page. Many business owners go this route, and use platforms like Teachable, Kartra, or Kajabi for payments, collecting emails, and delivering course content.
You can either use Showit or the chosen platform for your sales page. If you choose Showit, most platforms allow you to embed or link a checkout page. This makes the ability to promote products on your Showit website very easy.
