In this post, I’m taking you behind the scenes of this branding and web design project for my client, Kat Cynewski.

Kat is a leadership and business coach for soul-led women and wellness leaders. She’s also a yoga teacher/trainer, speaker, and retreat leader. If you’re located in Portland, ME, I highly recommend checking out her events!

Kat serves soul-led entrepreneurs and wellness leaders who are passionate about wellness, growth-obsessed, and value time over money, freedom, and authentic connection. Her mission is to help a million women build wealth and wellbeing by living their purpose, monetizing their magic, and changing the world.

Step 1: Visual branding

Power, happiness, and freedom - these are the emotions and vibe Kat desired for her new branding and website.

For this new direction, Kat wanted luxury boho and feminine vibes. We did this through the neutral colors, expressive fonts, and aligned graphics.

Step 2: Website Design

After solidifying her visual branding, we moved onto the website.

Her events website was built on Wix, but we built her new online in Showit (affiliate link), which allowed for more design freedom and creativity.

It was most important to Kat that the website landed with her soulmate clients and built credibility to grow her community and convert clients. As I stress a lot to my clients, professional brand photos are so incredibly important. Thankfully, Kat had a range of images that helped to convey the emotions and vibe that would connect with her ideal client. The design of the website helped to amplify those efforts.

After finishing the home page, I moved on to the rest of the website. She wanted one central location where people could go to learn about all her different offers. We built the work with me page, which had options to additional pages for more information about each offering.

Below are screenshots of the new website!

Step 3: Website launch

The website was transferred into her account, the domain was connected, and the website went live 🎉

We ended the process with a video walkthrough of the website so Kat knew how to make some changes on her own.

It was so much fun to bring Kat’s new website to life, and this project is such a clear example of why getting professional images that truly convey your brand’s messaging is SO incredibly important.

Here’s what she had to say:

“Lauren is exceptional at what she does! She created the most beautiful branding and website that brought the exact level of professionalism (and beauty) I was craving for my business. If you are in the market for design I definitely recommend Lauren’s work!”
