There’s Much to be Thankful For

As the holiday season approaches, I can’t help but look around and realize how lucky I am to be where I am and to have the amazing support from my parents that I hold very dear to me.

Many times, life seems like it’s moving too fast and there’s no slowing down. We have tasks and responsibilities thrown at us, and we wonder how we will eve
r find time to finish them. But when we stop even just for a second and realize how grateful we are of the things we have, it turns out life doesn’t seem as bad as it appears.

After such an intense and stressful semester, it is so nice to be sitting in my living room, surrounded by my family, and of course my beautiful dogs. It’s a wonderful reminder that although I may be three hours away in Oswego for most of the year, I always have my family just a phone call away. If it wasn’t without their continued support, I’m sure that the moments when I was most stressed would’ve been harder to get through.
